This new shelving model, the GalvaPro, is a novel storage solution made from galvanised steel. Don’t let the sophisticated aesthetic design fool you, this shelving is remarkably solid, with a maximum load capacity of 230kg per shelf for uniformly distributed loads.
This galvanised steel shelving unit can be installed either individually or as part of a row of shelving, which will consist of a starter bay and as many extension bays as required to meet your storage needs.
What’s the difference between a starter bay and an extension bay?
- Starter bay: This type of bay is composed of 4 uprights and as many shelves as you would like. It can be installed independently and does not necessarily need to be connected to another bay. It is always the starting point for a row of bays.
- Extension bay: This type of bay is composed of 2 uprights and as many shelves as you would like. It is always installed alongside another bay, with which it will share a set of uprights, as shown in the image below.
A row of shelving bays is composed of an initial starter bay and as many extension bays as required.
To calculate the total length of the row, you should add 80mm to the width of the starter bay and 6mm to each extension bay in the row. For the depth, you should add 36mm to each bay. Additionally, we recommend leaving a gap of 100mm on either side of the row.
Thanks to its build quality and carefully considered design, the GalvaPro is an ideal fit for both storerooms and commercial businesses. As a medium-duty, galavnised shelving unit, it's especially suited for storerooms and garages, given that it has corrosion-resistant properties on account of its galvanised finish. The assembly process is easy too, as you don’t need any bolts.
So that it can be customised for your specific purpose, this shelving unit can be set up with a height of anywhere up to 3 metres, and the shelves can be adjusted in 25mm increments. You can also choose your desired depth (from 300 to 600mm) and the number of shelves you want when placing your order.
