This large rubber mallet is designed for assembling boltless shelving units. Why use this mallet as opposed to a normal hammer? Thanks to its rubber head, which has a diameter of 6.5cm, it won’t mark or dent any surfaces. Therefore, it’s a perfect tool for setting up your shelving without damaging the metal.

Most of our shelving is boltless and only requires a mallet for fitting the beams to the uprights. If you haven’t already got one in your toolbox, you can purchase one of these large rubber mallets. This tool has a solid, wooden handle that is 32.2cm long and a rubber head that has a diameter of 6.5cm. This light mallet only weighs 500g and is incredibly safe to use. It can be used to attach shelves and beams to slotted uprights when you assemble your shelving, but it’s also a handy tool to have in your toolbox for a number of different jobs.
